Apparently, Georgia Pacific is rolling out a new voicemail system for their company this week and it's newsworthy for the folks who work there. At the GP building downtown, they have a sign that says "New GP Voicemail" and announces several times when people can go to a 45 minute, guided training session on how to use the new features for their phones. For all I know, GP may be implementing the world's slickest, most feature-rich voicemail system in the history of corporate communications, I'm not sure. It must be special. But it seems to me that if it takes a 45 minute classroom lesson to understand how to use YOUR VOICEMAIL, that you might take that as a clue that the system is just too fucking complicated.
